It happens to all of us at some point. We feel stuck. We get frustrated. We want more. We want to contribute more. We want to experience more. We want to earn more.

First, we need to clarify the difference between “being stuck” and “feeling frustrated.

”

When you are stuck, it’s because you think you do not have tools and resources to help you.

When you are feeling frustrated, you have tools and resources available, and perhaps you just haven’t used them yet, used them correctly, or to their fullest extent.

Why does this matter?

If you are feeling stuck, you aren’t really stuck. You just don’t realize all the resources available to you to make your life and your business better and more fulfilling.

If you are frustrated, you just haven’t taken the time to ask and learn how the existing resources you have can optimally serve you.

Education is key.

I’m not just speaking about formal education in the form of certifications and degrees. I’m talking about surrounding yourself with smart people who demand more of themselves and others.

In return, you will ask more of yourself and others in your circle. You have nowhere to go but up.

You can find forward-thinking people in your community, online and in special groups like the JSE Inner Circle.

It’s important to seek out people who support you, are willing to share, and who also ask more of themselves personally and professionally each day.

Another way to stop feeling stuck or frustrated is to delegate tasks where you do not excel. You may simply dislike the task. Give it to someone else, automate it or eliminate it.

Of all the business and career subjects I teach, DELEGATION is the most challenging for most people to grasp.

However, for those who embrace it, the rewards are huge. DO NOT waste your time trying to become a master of everything from web design, to graphic design, to writing sales copy and doing your accounting.  It’s not going to work, and you will feel frustrated. Bring your skills to an acceptable level so you know WHAT needs to be delegated, outsources or eliminated.

Here are resources to help you delegate:

HERE’S A HINT THAT WILL GET YOU MOVING:

All of the top fitness, nutrition and coaching “gurus” delegate a huge percentage of their work. If they didn’t, they could not reach those levels of success. If this is challenging for you, start small. What is the first think you can delegate to someone else to reduce frustration and increase productivity?

Once that is accomplished, think about what is next.  Keep going until your focus, time and energy is on your top 3 income and happiness producing activities.  This will eliminate much of your frustration.

There is something I learned about 4 years ago that changed my life.  Here it is….
The differences between a low producer and a medium producer are small. The differences between someone who earns $50,000 and $150,000 are small. The differences between someone who earns $200,000 and $2 million are even smaller.

Picking up on subtle hints throughout life and acting on them takes you to a higher level.

What’s the point?

Your small improvements quickly add up to give you a big improvement in your business and your life.

When you can save time or money while reducing frustration, do it!

When you can learn an ethical short cut, use it!

When you can combine tasks and reduce “friction,” make it happen!

When you have an opportunity to hang out with really smart people, show up!

That’s enough for now.

It’s time for you to get busy.

Thanks for your time,
